What do I enjoy most about tutoring? š
I particularly enjoy tutoring maths and science because, from personal experience, I've seen how much a student's confidence can grow when they understand a concept. Observing my own high school tutors also shaped how I teach. I noticed how they tailored their explanations to different students, and I've adopted a similar approach.I really enjoy not only seeing students grasp concepts but also the process of explaining them, it feels like a conversation. One of my strengths is explaining concepts clearly and logically while being patient, understanding that every student learns differently. When a student is frustrated, I check in with them and adjust my approach or give a short break if needed. I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student's confidence and self trust, as this often leads to improved performance. I make lessons engaging by involving students in each step, encouraging questions and critical thinking, and emphasising both independent learning and problem solving. Who I am
Iām a first year university student studying Applied Data Science with a focus on Marketing. Iām passionate about the intersection of data-driven topics and STEM, combining theory with practical applications to explore both fields deeply. Analytical and creative by nature, I enjoy collaborating with others and am always curious to learn more.
What I Do
Alongside my studies, I offer high school tuition in math, science, and English. My tutoring style focuses on making concepts simple and accessible through consistent practice and applied learning. I aim to help students build confidence and truly understand challenging topics. Despite my STEM background, I have a strong love for art and drawing, which I incorporate creatively into my teaching methods.
