I'm good at being able to explain concepts in a simple way by breaking it down in a way that makes it easy for someone to understand when its their first time. I like to use analogies as well, linking new topics to familiar ideas that will help them wrap their heads around it.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is adjust their teaching methods and style based on each student. Teaching with only one style and using the same methods for everyone won't work, and if you can't adjust, your sessions becomes very robotic and boring. About me
I'm currently studying my 3rd year in uni, doing my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I have over a year of tutoring experience, which consists of formal tutoring for 2 different companies, both in person and online, and informal private tutoring of friends and family. I have experience with a range of kids from primary school up to VCE high school students.

Went over how to find area and perimeter of squares and rectangles. Moved on to triangles. Combined them together at the end and did composite shapes.

Was struggling to understand the meaning of area vs perimeter to begin with, but quickly picked up the concepts by the end of the session.
We covered statistics, decimals, fractions. Went through how to multiply numbers with decimals, and he worked well through it.
