What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to help people learn and grow. I find it deeply fulfilling to guide someone from confusion to understanding and to see their confidence build along the way. Tutoring allows me to make a positive impact by breaking down complex ideas into simpler, more approachable concepts that suit each student's learning style. I genuinely enjoy supporting others, encouraging their curiosity and watching their skills and confidence develop over time. Helping people achieve their goals and realise their potential is what makes tutoring so meaningful to me.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor lie in my strong subject knowledge, patience and ability to communicate clearly. I take the time to understand how a student learns best and adjust my explanations or examples accordingly, making difficult concepts easier to grasp. I also focus on creating a calm and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. This chill atmosphere helps take the pressure off and makes learning more enjoyable and effective. Combined with my organisation and attentive nature, these strengths allow me to help students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to provide clear explanations, build confidence and create a supportive learning environment. A good tutor doesn't just give answers, they help students develop the skills and mindset to find those answers on their own. It's important to listen carefully, be patient and adapt to each student's individual learning style so they feel understood and encouraged. Ultimately, the goal is to empower students to become more independent, confident learners who enjoy the process of improving and discovering new things.

About Lalith
My Goals and Interests
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne (in Parkville) and aiming to work and specialise in the biotechnology field. My interests or hobbies are learning new things, playing and watching sports (especially cricket) and playing and listening to music (I play the guitar).
My Academic Experience
I had experienced and achieved many things during my schooling years, from several Maths Olympiads at primary school to the challenges faced when being accepted into the Select Entry Learning Program (SELP) at Werribee Secondary College. These all made me determined and confident to perform well academically and always look to improve myself. I had also helped students with their maths problems when I became one of the tutors at Maths Homework Club in high school. From my time at school, despite enjoying and doing well in science, maths has always been my strongest subject and I am very confident in my extensive knowledge and my ability to teach students.
My Accomplishments
- Academic Achievement Scholarship from Werribee Secondary College in Year 6
- VCE Subject Awards in Mathematical Methods and Physics during Year 11
- 95+ ATAR with Mathematical Methods being my best subject
