What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

“What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and support them in building confidence, skills, and direction for their future. I love seeing their progress and knowing that I have played a small part in helping them reach their goals

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain concepts in a way that suits each student’s learning style. I build positive connections, create a supportive environment, and use encouragement to help students gain confidence and stay motivated. I am organised, adaptable, and always focused on helping students achieve their goals

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build their confidence, understand their individual learning needs, and create a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. A tutor should guide students step-by-step, explain concepts clearly, and motivate them to become independent learners who believe in their own abilities

About Sultana Samreen

My Experience

I have over 5 years of experience as a teacher and 2 years as a Principal, working with students from diverse learning backgrounds. I specialise in Maths, Science, and English for Years 3–10. My experience has taught me how to identify each student’s strengths, support their weaknesses, and help them achieve their full potential through patient, structured guidance.

My Teaching Style

My teaching style is simple, engaging, and adaptable. I believe every child can learn when lessons match their learning style. I break complex ideas into easy steps, use examples students can relate to, and build confidence through consistent encouragement and practice. I also focus on improving problem-solving and critical thinking, not just memorising answers.

My Teaching Philosophy / Motivation

I believe teaching is more than just helping students get good marks — it’s about inspiring curiosity and confidence. I love seeing students realise they can understand and enjoy subjects they once found difficult. My goal is to make learning stress-free, meaningful, and rewarding for every child I teach.
