What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
Personally, tutoring is a form for me to aid other students who find learning difficult to navigate as I did (having recently graduated). Thus, it's rewarding to be able to help students understand a concept, and view their confidence and self-trust increase as they find strategies that work for them, and are able to face challenges with a positive mindset.My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
My strengths as a tutor include having established a strong basis on Maths subjects, while also being equally rounded in Science and English areas of knowledge. Thus, I can offer multiple ways of explaining a concept when a student may not understand. Hence, I also have advanced communication skills where I can help others develop their foundation, but also learn from their perspectives on how they may approach a challenging question or concept.Most important things I can do for a student ๐
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to focus on personal growth and encouragement, as every individual will have different capacities to learn and understand. About Me
Hi there! My name is Dhruvi, and Iโm a 2025 graduate from the Macrobertsons Girls High School. As a student myself, I understand the dump load of concerns students may have when theyโre entering high school, and doubts that make this experience really stressful. Trust me, Iโve been there. But throughout this journey I also realised that this experience can also be enjoyable, and manageable when you receive the right kind of support. And thatโs why Iโm here today, hoping to be part of your high school journey in the subjects of Maths (primary school and secondary school), General Maths 3/4, and Mathematical Methods 1/2 Personally, I have been helping students of all ages, ranging from primary to secondary school students through which I have developed multiple skills that can truly create a difference in your learning. I am patient and compassionate individual, I know the difficult process of constantly keeping up with school work, or merely finding a balance between extracurriculars and academic demands. So I hope to create a space where students are able to find this balance, where they can pursue their passions and keep up with their academics. Thus, as a tutor, I aim to provide personal feedback and additional attention that allows them to move smoothly through school. Honestly, I would like to make myself as a friend rather than a mere tutor. In my free time, I like to paint, make unique candle designs, and recently started learning some calligraphy.
