What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring is a way for me to give back. I got tutored during my time in high school, and now I want to help others the way i was helped. I enjoy helping people succeed, and getting the best out of people. I believe tutoring is a fulfilling way to help others prosper in their education

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

Communication and teaching. Despite my limited formal experience, I have helped many people through my time at school. My friends and peets often came to me to teach them concepts they couldnt understand, whether it was economics or general maths. I feel like I have a unique ability to quickly identify how best to explain something, given the students level and learning methods.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Understanding each individual student. I believe a tutor should be malleable in their teaching methods, so each student can be taught in the way they learn best

About Hayagriv

Emerging Tutor with Strong Leadership and Communication Skills

Hayagriv is a confident, articulate student currently completing his secondary schooling, bringing strong verbal and written communication skills to every lesson. His background as a cricket team captain means he is used to guiding younger peers, explaining strategies clearly, and keeping everyone calm and focused under pressure. This tutor naturally builds rapport with students, listens carefully to their concerns, and adjusts how he explains concepts so that each child feels heard and supported while learning.

Coaching Experience that Translates into Classroom Success

Through his work as a junior cricket coaching assistant, Hayagriv has hands-on experience breaking down complex skills into simple, step-by-step actionsβ€”an approach he applies directly to school subjects. He regularly runs structured practice sessions, sets goals with players, and gives constructive feedback in a positive way. Parents can expect him to bring the same organised, encouraging style to tutoring, helping students build confidence, stay engaged, and steadily improve in their Maths and English work.

Reliable Role Model with a Strong Community Focus

Beyond coaching, this tutor has contributed significant volunteer hours through community service and school environmental duties, showing reliability, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. He is used to managing time well, staying organised, and working patiently with people from different backgrounds. In tutoring sessions, he combines this maturity with a friendly, down-to-earth manner, creating a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and ultimately developing greater independence in their learning.
