What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable part of tutoring and teaching is seeing students gain confidence and improve as they understand concepts that were previously quite challenging. I am delighted to guide them step by step and to witness them gradually recognising that learning is an interesting, active, and meaningful process. I feel honoured to know that my assistance can contribute positively to students’ learning attitudes.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor include patience, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts in different ways. I used to work as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and course assistant, and I understood how to accurately understand students’ needs and concerns, and assist them in understanding complex knowledge points effectively. I am also reliable, motivated, adaptable to different circumstances, and capable of establishing a positive learning atmosphere.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can achieve are to build students’ confidence, provide transparent and reliable support and guidance, and create an inclusive environment where students feel free and comfortable asking any academic questions. A qualified tutor can not only help students achieve better academic performance but also help them establish positive learning habits. More importantly, a tutor must be responsible for motivating students to have faith in their abilities and find meaning in their studies.
