What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I love learning, teaching and studying. I love to help others understand topics so they can find the same joy in learning that I do.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I understand the pressure in high school to achieve high grades, hence I always put myself in the students shoes and explain all content to them in depth and without judgement. I also dedicate myself to my students, coming to each session prepared and organised. I have experience working with students with ADHD, ASD, and learning difficulties.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important things I can do for a student is to come prepared and organised to lessons. Making the most of my time with the student is essential to help the student gain the most advantage from tutoring. In high school some of the tutors I had made lessons very boring and awkward hence why I also ensure lessons are fun and safe for my students so they feel comfortable in their learning environment.

About Advita
Experienced Math tutor
This tutor has recently graduated year 12 with experience in Math Methods and Apps ATAR. Maths has always been her strongest subject and she has tutored maths to grade 2-10 students in the past before for 3 years. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (honours) at UWA.
Strong Academic Background in Maths and English
Currently completing her senior secondary studies, this tutor has studied advanced Mathematics and English, along with science subjects such as Chemistry, Physics and Human Biology. This gives her a solid understanding of how primary and early high school topics connect to later learning. She uses this knowledge to explain not just how to do something, but why it works, helping students develop real understanding rather than just memorising steps.
Patient Communicator with Organisational Strengths
Through her tutoring experience, Advita has developed clear communication skills and a friendly, approachable style that helps even shy students engage. She is highly organised, planning lessons around each childβs specific goals and school curriculum. Drawing on her leadership experience, she knows how to keep students on track while still making sessions enjoyable. She uses simple progress checks and practical examples from everyday life so parents and students can easily see improvement over time.
