What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love learning, teaching and studying. I love to help others understand topics so they can find the same joy in learning that I do.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I understand the pressure in high school to achieve high grades, hence I always put myself in the students shoes and explain all content to them in depth and without judgement. I also dedicate myself to my students, coming to each session prepared and organised.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things I can do for a student is to come prepared and organised to lessons. Making the most of my time with the student is essential to help the student gain the most advantage from tutoring. In high school some of the tutors I had made lessons very boring and awkward hence why I also ensure lessons are fun and safe for my students so they feel comfortable in their learning environment.

- I was impressed with how well she knew most of her times tables up to 7 times tables - I was impressed with her understanding of odd and even numbers and how quickly she recognised these - she picked up the concept of double digit multiplication fairly quickly however This will need more practice
- the speed at which Grace does her times tables can use a little boost as well as focused practice with 7-9 times tables - Grace just gets a little confused between which function to use if I give her a random question e.g. multiplication, addition or subtraction - long subtraction can use just a tiny bit of practice

- Ellie was really good with her 4 times tables - she also was listening to my advice and was very focused doing her work - she did her rainbow words really well and had a very good pronunciation of some of the words we practiced - really well done to Ellie on her fill in the blanks vocab sheet she completed this really quickly and mostly correct
- spelling words and needs development in recognising the letter patterns of words in order to spell them correctly - in maths times tables will be a goal to master this year - maths will need a bit of support but this is achievable - needs support in learning to recognise misspelt words
