What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing my students solve questions that they were struggling with. Since I was in high school, I knew how to study by myself but every now and then, there will be a question that will take me very long time to understand by myself. As a tutor, I believe my job is to expedite the learning process through helping the students understand their challenging topics better.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm good at breaking down concepts and helping my students gain fundamental understanding of the topics. I think this is the key to tackle advance questions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Helping my students to gain a capacity to solve more questions by themself is the most important thing. At the end of the day, the understanding of the students are judged through the marks of their exam which they have to tackle by themselves. I won't be beside them during their assessments so I want to ensure that they have the ability to answer questions independently.

About Taaha

High-achieving student with strong Maths and language skills

Taaha is a high-performing university student who finished school with an ATAR above 90 and the highest study score in second language Japanese in his cohort. His strong arithmetic skills and success in both Maths-related subjects and languages mean he can explain concepts clearly and logically. As a current architecture major, he works with measurements, diagrams and problem-solving every day, which keeps his mathematical thinking sharp and relevant for primary and high school students.

Proven leader who builds engaging learning communities

At school, this tutor took initiative beyond the classroom by organising the first-ever chess club and acting as an activity leader for petitions and club events. These experiences show he knows how to motivate students, manage groups and create a positive, focused environment. He uses chess and strategy games to help students develop logical thinking and concentration, making lessons more engaging while quietly building skills that support stronger performance in Maths and English.

Patient, relatable role model for younger students

As a recent graduate now at university, Taaha remembers clearly what primary and high school students find confusing, and he explains ideas in simple, step-by-step ways. His experience communicating in multiple languages, including Japanese and Urdu, helps him adjust his explanations for different backgrounds and learning styles. This tutor aims to build confidence as well as grades, encouraging students to ask questions, think independently and develop good study habits they can use across all subjects.
