What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping others, and through teaching other people, I can also develop my own understandings of different fields further.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are adaptability and resilience, as through changing different teaching styles for different subjects and students, I will be able to effectively help to the strengths of each situation.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The two most important things a tutor can do for a student is help with accountability and develop understanding of deeper ideas that students may not have knowledge in. Accountability means being an external party that can help make sure a student feels obliged to study and improve, and developing understanding means students can specialise their tutoring to 'pick up' whatever they may not have understood first in the classroom.

About Jasper

Maths Mentor Who Knows the School System Inside Out

Jasper is a recent high school graduate whose top subject was maths methods, consistently achieving scores in the more-than-80% range and even reaching the high 90s on key assessments. Because he has just completed the same style of curriculum your child is studying, he understands exactly where students get stuck and how topics build on each other. He focuses on breaking tricky ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations, helping students move from “I don’t get it” to confidently tackling questions on their own.

Proven Student Leader and Peer Teacher

This tutor has real experience guiding other students, not just doing well himself. As founder and president of his school’s game development club, Jasper regularly taught younger students how to code and design simple games, planning sessions and explaining new concepts in an engaging way. As editor of the school newspaper, he refined his communication skills and learnt to give constructive, encouraging feedback. These roles show his ability to connect with students, listen carefully, and explain ideas in more than one way.

Tech-Savvy, Creative Approach to Learning

Jasper brings strong technology skills in programming and game development, and he often uses these interests to make maths feel more relevant and fun. He is comfortable using digital tools, visual aids and simple coding-style logic to help students understand patterns, problem-solving and algebra. His patience and calm manner mean students can ask the same question in different ways without feeling judged. Parents can expect a tutor who is reliable, organised, and able to tailor each session to the student’s pace and interests.
