The two most important things a tutor can do for a student is help with accountability and develop understanding of deeper ideas that students may not have knowledge in. Not very active in lessons, making it hard to gauge understanding and what I can help with. Furthermore, still some issues with grammar and sentence structure to focus on. I may have gone too fast into 'what how why' without checking baseline understanding, causing some confusion.

Handwriting, spelling and other features of writing still need to be developed further. Along with this, being able to apply the newly learnt system of writing longer sentences to essays is needed.

At times the student lacked motivation and was questioning why it was important to learn English, along with being disinterested with the content at times, slow to respond to prompting. Didn't have any work on hand to show, but will have it next lesson.
