What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally enjoy getting to share my knowledge and getting to know what works for each student. I've been inspired by several of my teachers who have taken the time to figure out what worked for me to help motivate and support me. I would love to be able to offer that to another student and help them achieve their potential.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths are a tutor are a high level of discipline and independence that allows me to grasp advanced topics quickly. In addition, an accelerated environment offered a collaborative environment where I often supported peers by explaining concepts and work through problems together. I believe I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills that work well in teaching. I am also able present knowledge in an organised and easily understandable manner as well as think critically, working well under pressure.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to adapt to their learning style. In my experience, everyone learns differently and learning to personalise one's teaching style is a key part of a student's success as it enables them to truly grasp the topics taught in an easily understandable way. I find it works extremely and plays a great role in student motivation to do well, encouraging success early-on.
