What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Democratising knowledge is key to understanding and appreciating the world in greater fidelity. The enthusiasm and excitement of students is unbeatable when you can help to cultivate their curiosity into crystal knowledge. I love to break stuff into my own words, and encourage students to create their own formula for an answer. When it is your own, you remember it for life.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I achieved a GPA of 5.0 unweighted in my penultimate year, receiving school awards in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, and English: Literature. I create video supplements to core concepts I teach, breaking down each part to its most basic building blocks.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I can get the words out of a textbook and make them stick. Knowledge should be committed forever and understood, not simply memorised. I can personalise how the facts are delivered, and can support discussion and inquiry into the right answers, to allow students the room to crystallise information in their own minds in their own ways, to connect to their everyday life and remember it for the long term.

About Tenzin
Who Am I?
Hi! My name is Tenzin. I am a young guy who absolutely loves learning! I'll sit down in a library for hours on end and absorb every word of every book, then spread the wisdom to anyone eager to hear. I love to reword knowledge in my own terms; in simple ways that connect information to everyday life. That is why I'm your guy for any Maths 1&2, Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Sciences.
What Subjects Are My Focus?
I am all about that STEM! Maths 1&2, Physics, Chemistry, or Computer Sciences are my forte because of their intuition. I love to give students the pieces, and prompt discussion or inquiry, but not tell them the answer outright. STEM allows you to start with the basic building blocks, and build everything from there. By taking your own journey to the answer, you build a better understanding overall of what you are learning, more than simply ticking a box.

Independence of decision, he is good at this but I want him to be more confident in that his answer is right because he knows it so, not because it is trying to impress me. Also, we still need to identify the verbosity of the content, but this is okay since that is what the school requests anyway.

Maybe some fluff would be okay, given the verbosity is what the teacher is after in this very specific context. However, this is not good practice in the real world. Should only be used in the situation of requirement for an educator.

Same as last week. Mental arithmentic is good, we need to work on general confidence the idea is good. I don't want you to tell me what I want to hear, i want you ot tell me what is right, whether I like it or not (the truth is cold and uncaring), but no people pleasing :)
