What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students understand things that once felt confusing or overwhelming. During my own studies, my tutors played a big role in breaking down difficult concepts and helping me gain confidence in my learning, and I hope to do the same for other students. I find it really rewarding when a student finally understands something they have been struggling with and gains confidence in their abilities. I also enjoy building a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a recent Year 12 graduate, I think my strengths include my ability to understand the curriculums and the challenges students face because I have been through it myself recently. I am patient, approachable, and try to explain concepts in simple, clear ways to help students understand it better. I am organised and reliable, and I make an effort to adjust my teaching style to suit each student’s learning needs. I am also persistent and willing to put in the extra effort to help students improve and reach their goals.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important things a tutor can do are to build a student’s confidence, provide clear explanations, and encourage good study habits. While also being persistent and ensuring that students truly understand the concepts and learn from their mistakes to become better. A tutor should also support students academically while also motivating them to believe in themselves and develop independence in their learning.
