What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
There's always a change in a student's manner when they gain confidence in their own thinking and abilities, and I often look forward to seeing students achieve this with themselves when they recognize their own improvements.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My high school years comprised of a highly competitive environment with minimal guidance, which compelled me to thrive independently. What I would do different as a tutor is to lend them the helping hand I missed out on, and let academically-driven students be independent through guiding them to engage in their critical thinking skills and discover their intellect on their own. I am also very adaptable to the learning styles of each student, and I'd say my classes are heavily student-focused rather than just content-focused.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
What students need is someone who is relatable, accessible and observant to be able to support them. I focus on maintaining a genuine, lasting relationship with a student, and understanding their academic and intellectual needs but also helping them in their journeys of fulfilling their ambitions!
