My high school years comprised of a highly competitive environment with minimal guidance, which compelled me to thrive independently. What I would do different as a tutor is to lend them the helping hand I missed out on, and let academically-driven students be independent through guiding them to engage in their critical thinking skills and discover their intellect on their own. I am also very adaptable to the learning styles of each student, and I'd say my classes are heavily student-focused rather than just content-focused.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
