What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the idea that I am able to share with the younger students my discrete techniques and skills that I have learnt throughout my years of studying experience to better prepare them for their future studies. I find that sharing these skills that many others might not use is more rewarding than keeping to myself and can hopefully help younger students understand concepts better in a way that caters to them personally.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am flexible in the way that I teach and am able to fluently convey topics to fit the needs of a wide range of students, which allows them to be encouraged to learn concepts more quickly and efficiently as opposed to a stagnant way of learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is be flexible to cater to the students needs, allowing them to gain valuable knowledge quicker than usual. A tutor should be perceived as a role model for the student to allow them to be mutually respected and gain trust in the learning journey. A tutor should connect with students on a level beyond simply tutoring, whether this be through sharing past learning experiences or sharing small jokes in between lessons, as this makes the tutoring experience feel more grounded and enjoyable for the student.
