Suday is a Law and Medical Science student who brings excellent communication and listening skills to his tutoring. Through structured mentoring programs, he has supported students one-on-one with both academic and personal challenges, helping them break tasks into manageable steps and stay motivated. He has completed formal training in empathy, active listening and effective written communication, which means he explains concepts clearly, checks for understanding, and makes sure students feel heard and confident asking questions.
This tutor has extensive experience helping learners improve their English, especially conversational and academic language. As a peer mentor, he has run regular language support sessions, designing tailored activities and discussion prompts for students from diverse backgrounds. He has also led small groups focused on spoken English and cultural understanding, building students’ confidence to speak up in class and participate in discussions. Parents can expect a patient approach that focuses on clarity, vocabulary building, and practical communication skills.
Beyond mentoring, Suday has taken on leadership roles that show strong organisation and reliability, including managing budgets and preparing reports for a student society and planning activities at mental health and wellbeing events. He has also facilitated online wellbeing spaces, checking in with over a hundred participants and guiding supportive conversations. This background means he brings calm, structure and care into tutoring sessions, helping students manage stress, stay on top of schoolwork, and build healthy study habits alongside their Maths and English skills.

Shahmir wasn’t able to always correctly identify questions that were related to character development and the plot of the story line. Therefore, we will be doing more questions in relation to this.

Ajla approached a brand?new topic with good focus and stayed engaged throughout the lesson. She picked up the foundational ideas of reading and converting time, and she asked questions when she was unsure — which helped her understand the early modules more clearly. Her effort was consistent even though the content was new for both of us.
Ajla will benefit from more practice questions, especially with longitudinal and latitudinal style questions. I will be giving her questions that increase with difficulty so she learns the concepts by solving each one.

Shahmir handled the first text confidently, showing good understanding of the main ideas and answering most of those questions accurately. He also showed improvement in locating key information within the passages and using that to support his answers. His pacing was better than in previous sessions, especially in the earlier sections.
Shahmir needs to slow down and take more time to fully understand what each question is asking. Some mistakes came from rushing or assuming the meaning rather than carefully checking the wording. Focusing on reading the question stem twice and identifying the key instruction words will help him avoid these small but avoidable errors.

Jamie stayed focused throughout the session and showed strong recall of previously learned reactions. He was able to identify many reactions quickly and accurately, and his confidence improved as we progressed. He also engaged well with the examples and asked good questions that helped deepen his understanding.
Jamie would benefit from revising the reactions we didn’t have time to cover today, especially the ones included in the document I sent. Continued practice matching reagents to reaction types will help strengthen his speed and accuracy. It may also help to review the trickier reactions more regularly so they become more automatic.
