Hey, I’m about to undertake a Bachelor of Advanced Computing at the University of Sydney. I have a strong interest in mathematics and sports, which enables me to easily connect with students and create a comfortable learning environment. I focus on clear explanations, patience, and helping students gain confidence in their maths skills.
Practical Mentoring Experience with Younger Students
Krish has hands-on experience supporting younger students at school, especially through coaching and assisting in sports such as soccer, cricket and Oztag. This has taught him how to break skills into simple steps, give clear instructions and encourage students of different abilities. He brings that same approach to tutoring, using patience, positive reinforcement and short, achievable goals so students feel successful quickly, then gradually stretch into more challenging Maths and English work.

There were some silly mistakes throughout the questions, mainly due to small errors rather than a lack of understanding. More focus should be placed on carefully reading each question and checking working and answers before moving on.

He demonstrated a good understanding of most of the content and was able to answer the majority of the questions correctly. He performed particularly well with fractions and angles and was able to apply his knowledge effectively to the past-paper questions.
More focus is needed on word problems, particularly understanding what the question is asking and identifying the appropriate method to use. He also needs further practice identifying different types of angles. Continued practice with these question types should help improve his confidence and accuracy.
