What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is opportunity to see students truly learn and understand new concepts better. I think that this feeling is really fulfilling and gives me motivation as a tutor. I also enjoy seeing students build their confidence with their learning and be more comfortable to asking questions. I believe that this is where the best learning occurs and I love seeing students being confident.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As a tutor I believe my main strengths are being able to adapt and cater to each student's needs. Everyone learns differently and I believe it is important to negotiate learning methods and study plans to ensure that they are getting the best support. My organisation skills are really crucial in attaining this and I think taking this methodically is really important in learning complex theories. I believe I can create a comfortable, non-judgemental environment as well, so students feel confident asking questions.
Most important things I can do for a student π
One of the most valuable lessons I learned is that a studentβs ability to grasp concepts is highly dependent on their learning environment and their comfort level in the classroom. When students feel safe to ask questions and are not afraid of making mistakes, their understanding and confidence grow significantly. As a tutor, I strongly believe in creating a supportive, welcoming, and judgement-free environment where students feel comfortable engaging with content, asking questions, and learning at their own pace.

About Vidhi
High-achieving maths and science tutor with proven results
Vidhi is a high-achieving recent school graduate with an adjusted ATAR above 95 and top scores across Mathematical Methods, Chemistry and University Studies. She was accelerated in mathematics and has already completed maths at a university level, giving her a strong foundation to support students from Reception to Year 12. Vidhi has a particular strength in explaining tricky algebra, problem-solving and exam-style questions in clear, simple steps that make sense to students who may have previously felt βstuckβ or overwhelmed.
Real classroom and peer-tutoring experience
As a teaching assistant in a primary school, Vidhi helped teachers prepare lessons, supported students one-on-one and carefully marked work, explaining errors so students understood exactly how to improve. Alongside this, she spent several years as a peer tutor in maths and chemistry, regularly helping classmates and younger students. These experiences mean she is comfortable working with a wide range of abilities, from early primary numeracy through to senior chemistry, and knows how to adjust her explanations on the spot.
Warm, adaptable approach tailored to each student
Vidhi is a clear communicator who listens closely to how students think, then adapts her teaching style to match. She often breaks concepts into small, manageable parts and uses everyday examples to make abstract ideas in maths and science feel more concrete. Sessions with this tutor typically focus on building confidence through guided practice, targeted homework support and exam preparation strategies, so students not only understand the content but also feel calmer and more prepared in tests.
