What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the process of breaking 'complex' concepts down to their fundamentals so that the students can understand the essence of the topic and develop critical thinking to become independent problem solvers.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strenghts as a tutor would be my strong grasp of the fundamentals of science and maths along with my patience and ability to teach with empathy and care.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to help them become an independent and critical thinker who are unfraid of taking on unknown and challenging problems. I also believe that having an open and safe communication space with the students so they feel free and comfortable to express themselves in the classrooms.

About Ruturaj

Professional

I am a chemical engineer with a B.Tech (hons) and Ph.D. I am working with my start-ups in waste to energy and natural product extraction respectively. I have more than 3 years of experience tutoring students in science and maths. Teaching science and maths has always been my passion and I am happy to be part of Ezymath tutoring for the same.

Experienced University Teaching Assistant Who Knows How Students Think

As a longterm teaching assistant in engineering and science subjects, Ruturaj has guided many firstyear students transitioning from school to university. He has run tutorials, marked assignments and helped students oneonone with everything from basic equations to interpreting graphs and scientific data. This experience means he can quickly spot common misunderstandings in maths and science and correct them early. Parents can expect structured sessions, clear worked examples and regular checkins to make sure concepts are truly understood, not just memorised.

Analytical, Patient Approach with RealWorld Problem Solving

Ruturaj’s research projects have involved designing lab experiments, building mathematical models and troubleshooting when things don’t work the first time—exactly the mindset students need for school maths and science. He likes to connect abstract ideas to practical situations, such as using reaction rates or energy changes to show why equations matter. This tutor encourages students to talk through their reasoning, test different approaches and learn from mistakes, building both confidence and exam readiness over time.
