What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable part of tutoring is seeing the reaction on the students faces when they finally learn how to answer a question they found particularly difficult. Seeing the happiness or relief on their face gives me a sense of purpose.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My personal love for children is a strength as it ensures I approach the student with patience and a warm welcoming environment. I strive to create this environment to ensure they feel comfortable to communicate their difficulties. As a former IB student I am extremely well prepared in terms of time management. Owning a car also gives me flexibility to drive to student's homes to give personal tutoring or meet at a local library. I have always loved learning, particularly math. As this is a subject most students find difficult, I am good at providing an alternative perspective to the subject.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Create a positive welcoming learning environment in which both the student and parent feels comfortable to openly share their difficulties and any concerns. This ensures the student understands the concepts being taught. Tutors must also have a strict, direct nature. This allows the lessons to be targeted and directional in which the student can stay on task and be focused.
