What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The ability to see a student grow throughout my course of teaching them, even if they do not academically improve as much as they might have wished, seeing potential changes in their favourite topics is always fulfilling. Also enjoy challenging myself with explaining concepts in different ways to eventually create and witness the "aha!" moments.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am very punctual and reliable, at school I was a Peer Tutor for a year and a half, where me and my tutors would always be the first tutees/tutors to start their sessions every morning; this was substantial as the first student I received was a student who heavily disliked studying before, but overtime I made it something fun for him, so much so that we had sessions outside of our school given times for further assistance. Hence, my key strengths would be punctuality and reliability.
Most important things I can do for a student π
To be there for them; sometimes, especially for younger students, high school can feel overwhelming with procrastination becoming predominant as the years go on; I would hope that I can always make time to assist them last second and never be one of the impermanent tutors. I also believe that changing mindsets will naturally cause positive effects in their results, so I hope that the students also become genuinely interested in learning new concepts, especially the ones they might have previously hated.

About Reshwan
Confident High-Achiever in Maths, Science and English
Reshwan is a high-performing senior student who has completed advanced tutoring courses in Physics and Mathematics Extension 2, giving him a strong grasp of challenging concepts that many school students find difficult. He has been recognised in national competitions such as the Australian Mathematics Competition and ICAS for Mathematics, English and Science, and has also taken part in essay and science olympiad programs. This breadth means he can support students who need both solid foundations and extension-style thinking.
Proven School Mentor and Student Leader
This tutor has hands-on experience mentoring Year 7β8 students in one-to-one sessions across multiple subjects, planning and delivering structured morning lessons with reliable punctuality. As a Peer Support leader, he has helped new high school students settle in, running workshops and camp activities that build confidence and resilience. His roles as SRC member, library supervisor and chess captain show that he can guide younger students, keep them organised, and model calm, responsible behaviour.
Structured, Engaging and Analytical Tutoring Style
In sessions, Reshwan draws on his experience using digital learning platforms to organise notes, practice questions and revision resources so students always know what they are working towards. His chess background helps him teach problem-solving step by step, especially in maths, while his experience in Model UN and essay competitions informs clear, logical writing support in English. Parents can expect lessons that are well-prepared, on time, and tailored to each studentβs pace, with a strong focus on building independent thinking.
