What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is seeing how a studentβs approach to a problem changes over time. When they start to slow down, think logically, and trust their own process, their confidence grows naturally. Being part of that shift, where learning feels less stressful and more achievable, is what makes tutoring genuinely meaningful to me.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
One of my key strengths as a tutor is my ability to explain concepts clearly and adjust my approach to suit how each student thinks. I am quick to identify where a student is getting stuck and encourage them to work through problems independently. This helps students build strong problem solving skills and confidence that carries over into their schoolwork.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is make learning feel less overwhelming. This comes from explaining ideas clearly, being patient when a student is stuck, and helping them understand why something works, not just how to get the answer. Creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions is key to real progress.

About Allen
About me!
Hi I am Allen! I am currently a first year student at Monash University studying Bachelors of Engineering(honours) & Bachelors of Commerce. I have always loved trying to figure out how things work and also enjoy building mini projects. I am trying to pursue a career in Engineering with a Mechatronics, Robotics and AI specialisation. A dream of mine is building a product that can help the future. A goal in 2026 is trying to create a startup for an app that helps tutors manage their work. I love going to the gym and I also love cars!
