What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is the genuine satisfaction I receive in helping them grow in confidence and understanding. I think my experience in 'Study Squids', the peer tutoring program I mention in my resume, sparked this passion where I discovered I was able to break down complex concepts into more manageable pieces for younger students. At Kumon, this was reinforced when I experienced firsthand the reward of adapting this approach to suit different students' needs and seeing them respond positively. My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My young age often allows me to understand and get along well with younger kids. I believe this skill can be valuable in helping convey trickier topics by using familiar language. Being a recent high school graduate as well I think helps me to understand students hopefully helping students find me more relatable and thus comfortable to be around.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being there for a student when needed. I believe a student should be comfortable enough with their tutor that they are not afraid to ask any questions and thus be able to unlock their highest potential
