What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is the genuine satisfaction I receive in helping them grow in confidence and understanding. I think my experience in 'Study Squids', the peer tutoring program I mention in my resume, sparked this passion where I discovered I was able to break down complex concepts into more manageable pieces for younger students. At Kumon, this was reinforced when I experienced firsthand the reward of adapting this approach to suit different students' needs and seeing them respond positively. My young age often allows me to understand and get along well with younger kids. I believe this skill can be valuable in helping convey trickier topics by using familiar language.
