What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is witnessing the moment when confusion transforms into clarity. I believe it to be inspirational when witnessing the moment a student 'clicks' with a concept - you really can see the belief in themself shine through. I also value the personal connection that develops in tutoring - the opportunity to tailor my approach to each individual's learning style and to help them discover their belief in their own capability to find an answer.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my greatest strength as a tutor is passion. As someone who truly cares about education and the empowerment of children, I believe that really shines through in the effort I put into each session and the approach I take in it. I am attentive to how each student processes information and adjust my approach accordingly, due to the fact that I genuinely care.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Show them what it looks like to believe in themselves. For a student, witnessing someone believe in you heartedly gives you an instant boost to reflect that in yourself. Beyond helping with the immediate task at hand, a tutor should equip students with the tools and strategies they need to think critically and solve problems on their own. Creating an environment where students feel supported, whilst challenged, allows them to not only improve academically but also develop a genuine love for learning and belief in their potential in every aspect of life.
