About Mitaal

Strong maths foundation with real classroom experience

This tutor, Mitaal, is a computer engineering student who finished school with an ATAR above 90, giving him a solid grounding in highschool maths. He regularly works with children as a volunteer youth leader, helping to run activities, explain ideas clearly and keep students engaged in group settings. This blend of strong academic results and handson experience with young people means he understands both the content and how to communicate it in a way that makes sense to schoolaged learners.

Patient, relatable mentor for primary and high school students

As a youth leader, he guides children through games, discussions and small group sessions, building trust and confidence while managing different personalities and learning styles. He uses his communication skills to break down tricky concepts into simple, stepbystep explanations, especially in maths and basic programming. Being close in age to highschool students, he is easy for them to relate to, while still providing a calm, responsible presence that parents can rely on.

Problemsolving and creativity to make learning engaging

With experience in Python programming and music production, Mitaal brings a creative, problemsolving approach to tutoring. He likes to use realworld examples, such as simple coding tasks or rhythm patterns from music, to show how maths ideas work in everyday life. This tutor enjoys helping students who feel β€œnot good at maths” discover that they can succeed by approaching problems differently and practising structured methods, turning frustration into small wins and growing confidence over time.
