Hi! Iโm Yuna, a UQ Nutrition Sciences student with a multicultural background spanning Australia, Thailand, and Japan. Having spent my entire K-12 education at an international school, I love working with people from diverse backgrounds and different learning styles. Iโve recently moved to Brisbane for uni and am excited to help students tackle math with confidence and ease. Letโs get to work!

University: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences at the University of Queensland High School Honors: Graduated as Class Salutatorian (ranked 2nd in my graduating class) with a 4.33 GPA Academic Record: Maintained a consistent straight-A since K-12 Standardized Testing: Achieved a 1430 on the SAT (730 Math / 700 English) and a passing score on the AP Calculus exam
Experience
I have a year of hands-on experience working in a 4th-grade classroom as a Teacherโs Assistant. During this internship, I focused on: - Providing 1-on-1 tutoring for students who needed extra support to catch up with the class curriculum. - Assisting with grading and classroom support, ensuring students stayed engaged with the material. - Simplifying foundational concepts for younger learners to build a strong academic base. I love working with younger children and am dedicated to making sure my students don't just "do" the math, but actually understand it!
