What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The best part about tutoring is when the students reach the 'aha' moment, when the concept finally clicks. Seeing them gradually level up their mindset and knowledge while knowing I played a part in that progress is incredibly rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

Apart from my experience and my ability to communicate clearly, my strength has always been that I have used tutoring/ teaching techniques in my own life. Whenever I've prepared for exams, I've used the Feynman technique, and it has helped both me and the person I explained the concept to. Additionally, whenever I come across foreign concepts in my study/work, I often break them into smaller ideas or analogies, preferably in my area of interest. That makes it easier to understand the concept, and also keeps things familiar.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most vital thing that can be done is helping a student feel capable and confident. Grades and content matter, but confidence is what will help them with almost everything in their life as a human being. My goal is to create an environment where the student feels safe to make a mistake, and doesn't feel pressured to get the concept within the first try. When a student starts trusting their own thinking instead of relying on mine, that's when I know I've done my job well.

About Tushar

Maths-Focused Tutor with Strong Analytical Background

Tushar brings a powerful mix of maths, statistics and real-world problem solving to his tutoring. With degrees in commerce and information technology, he works confidently with algebra, data handling, probability and financial maths, and is comfortable explaining how these ideas show up in everyday life and technology. He has experience building and evaluating machine learning models, so he is used to breaking complex ideas into clear, logical steps – a skill he applies directly when helping students untangle tricky maths questions and exam-style problems.

Experienced Educator Who Tailors Lessons to Each Student

As an educator in a community service program, this tutor designed and delivered remedial classes for students who were struggling, creating his own worksheets and activities to suit different learning speeds and backgrounds. He has also mentored peers in technical subjects, translating complex concepts into simple language and visuals. Parents can expect lessons that are paced carefully, with worked examples, stepbystep reasoning and regular checkins to ensure understanding, rather than rushing through a set curriculum.

High-Achieving, Motivating Role Model for Primary and High School Students

Tushar has a strong personal academic record, including scoring full marks in school economics and reaching national finals in argument and problem-solving competitions. He often uses puzzles, real data sets and β€œwhat if” scenarios to keep students engaged, especially those who like logic or business. His experience as a class representative and project leader means he is comfortable guiding shy or anxious learners, encouraging them to ask questions, show their working and build confidence in both maths and related English reasoning tasks.
