Shayanton is a civil engineering student with a solid track record in Maths and Science, including high achievement in a university-level Fundamentals of Science course and strong results in advanced secondary Maths, Physics and Chemistry. He tutors Maths from Years 7–12 and Science subjects through to senior levels, as well as study skills and exam preparation. This tutor draws on his own experience moving from school to university to help students bridge content gaps and build confidence step by step.
In his onetoone tutoring, Shayanton focuses on breaking tricky ideas into simple, logical steps so students never feel lost. He regularly uses realworld engineering and everyday examples to make abstract concepts in algebra, physics and chemistry easier to grasp and remember. He adapts explanations to each student’s pace and learning style, checking understanding with short practice questions so parents can see steady progress over time.
Shayanton’s background in customerfacing roles has honed his communication skills, patience and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds—qualities that come through strongly in his tutoring. He creates a calm, friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking “silly” questions and trying again after mistakes. Confident with online platforms such as Zoom and similar tools, this tutor is reliable, organised and focused on helping students become independent, examready learners.

Zain seemed very fluent in understanding factors and multiples but his school only uses numbers up to 12. Today he found the multiples and factors of 14 (5 multiples). It is very inspiring how he see's no hard question any differently. He knows he will be able to do it eventually and he keeps trying even knowing he is getting it wrong. He learns the correct method and he is also very good at implementing what he just learnt.

Faye is doing really well now, today as I was sitting she started going through the times table and she said that she learnt the 6 and 7 times table so i tested her and she was spot on. We did factors and multiples and she understood it all and she also saw how knowing her times table can help in solving other mathematical problems.
