What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Since the only people I have "tutored" are my friends in Years 10 or 11, I guess the most satisfactory part about teaching was the delight they had once they understood the topic they were struggling with.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being a student myself, I feel like my strength is that I can detect whether the other person really understands the topic. For example, while trying to explain something to one of my younger friends, I would generally be able to tell if what I say is getting through to them based on their facial expressions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I feel like the most important thing a tutor can do is to prepare a student for any academic challenges at school. This preparation can be reflected in the results that they end up achieving, but we should still believe that an exam can't be a true reflection of the students' true potential.
