What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring students from grades 2 to 6 is watching them grow not just academically, but also emotionally and socially. Young kids are naturally curious, and I love being able to guide that curiosity in a positive way.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very encouraging and positive. I believe that praise and support help kids feel confident, which makes them more willing to learn and take on challenges. I know how to create a safe, comfortable environment where students are not afraid to ask questions. make lessons engaging and easy to understand. I can also make the lesson engaging and easy for students , for example breaking down difficult topics into simple steps, using simple examples, and keeping students focused. I am responsible, organized, and truly care about helping children improve both academically and personally.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Teaching is not only about explaining knowledge or helping with homework. It’s about understanding each child’s strengths, challenges, and feelings. When students feel you truly care about them, they trust you, listen to you, and become more willing to learn. Patience, clear communication, and the ability to encourage are also important, but caring is the foundation. It makes all the other skills work. A tutor who cares will take the time to explain things again, celebrate small progress, and help kids build confidence.

She has taken small groups and whole classes in Literacy and Maths, and has successfully managed full days of teaching for Year 1 and 2 students.
