What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students develop confidence in tackling challenging problems. In math, its common for students to feel stuck or doubt their abilities, and I find it incredibly rewarding to guide them through, helping them understand each step and discover solutions independently. Watching that "aha" moment when a concept clicks is what makes tutoring truly fulfilling for me.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My strengths as a tutor include patience, clarity in explanation, and the ability to break down complex concepts into simpler, steps. Through my experience as a Learning Support Teacher, I have learned how to identify gaps in understanding and adapt my approach to different learning styles. I'm also attentive to students confidence and mindset, ensuring they feel supported while developing independence in problem-solving.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important things a tutor can do are to build students confidence, nurture logical and critical thinking skills, and encourage independent problem-solving. A tutor should guide and challenge students, empowering them to trust their own reasoning and approach math with curiosity rather than fear.
