What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think I gravitate toward teaching because my mother is a teacher. I also practiced mentoring and teaching concepts quite a bit while for my junior engineers at Quantiphi. Since I'm currently a Master of Data Science student at the University of Melbourne, I spend a lot of time behind a screen. Tutoring lets me interact with people directly.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I treat complex problems as following: I like to break them down into small, logical blocks that are easier to process. I've found that I retain information best when I connect the dots myself, so I use a mentoring style focused on asking the right questions rather than just giving away the solution.
Learning from my Mom's teaching style, I have the patience and discipline to let a student find their own "aha" moment while I provide a consistent, reliable presence.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is be patient and provide a steady, and provide safe reliable environment where a student feels comfortable making mistakes, I'm focused on being a mentor who always shows up prepared.
Instead of spoon-feeding the answers, I like to break a problem down into logical blocks and ask the right questions to guide the student's thought process. This allows them to connect the dots themselves and reach their own conclusions. It's a method I've used myself

About Aaditya
Data Scientist and Post Grad Student
Hi, I'm Aaditya! I am a passionate Data Scientist and currently pursuing my Master of Data Science at the University of Melbourne. With over four and a half years of professional industry experience, including my recent role as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, I specialize in turning complex, ambiguous concepts into clear, understandable lessons.During my career, I've actively mentored junior engineers , helping them navigate everything from Python and data pipelines to advanced generative AI. I bring that same high-energy, customer-focused approach to my tutoring, ensuring my students not only learn the material but feel confident applying it.I believe a great mind needs an active lifestyle! When I am not deep into coding or data analysis, I love staying active and meeting new people. You can usually find me training for my next marathon , practicing on the mat as an Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate Black Belt , or exploring the ocean as a certified Open Water Scuba Diver. I bring this same discipline, endurance, and sense of adventure to my teaching. Let's tackle your learning goals together!
