Katrine was receptive to guidance and actively engaged with the examples worked through during the lesson. She showed improvement in identifying the different faces of prisms and was able to apply the correct methods once the structure of the problem had been clarified.
Katrine would benefit from further practice visualising 3D shapes and translating them into 2D nets. While she understands corrections and explanations well, she sometimes finds it challenging to independently identify all relevant dimensions and faces when solving surface area problems. Continued practice with a variety of prism diagrams and visualisation exercises will help strengthen her confidence and accuracy.

Keira demonstrated a strong understanding of logarithmic concepts and was able to apply the correct methods with some guidance. She is a very capable student who quickly recognises what steps are required to solve problems and showed good reasoning throughout the lesson.
Keira occasionally forgot some of the logarithm laws and needed to refer back to the reference sheet. More practice applying the laws in different contexts will help build confidence and improve recall. Continued graph-sketching practice will also help reinforce the connections between the equations.

Showed noticeable improvement throughout the session, particularly after practising similar question types multiple times. Became more confident solving straightforward ratio, percentage, and linear equation problems with support.
Student has not studied Mathematics for some time, so more complex or unfamiliar worded problems were initially challenging. Still needs further practice interpreting word problems and identifying which steps or formulas to apply independently. Occasionally becomes confused when isolating variables in linear equations and with the arithmetic steps required to solve for x. Continued practice with multi-step problems and structured problem-solving strategies would be beneficial.
