Jinting is a Master’s-level IT and Artificial Intelligence graduate who brings real-world problem solving into tutoring sessions. He uses his strong background in algorithms, programming and data analysis to help students see maths and computing as logical, learnable systems rather than scary subjects. By breaking complex ideas into clear, visual steps and linking them to everyday examples, he helps primary and high school students build confidence and genuine understanding, not just memorise formulas.
As product owner for an educational web project that animated algorithms like Dijkstra and BFS, Jinting learnt how to explain step-by-step logic in a way that students can actually see and grasp. He now applies the same approach when teaching topics such as algebra, problem solving and basic coding, using diagrams, flow-style reasoning and simple “what if” experiments. He is used to listening closely to learners’ needs and adjusting explanations until each student can follow independently.
Jinting has led team discussions, run client meetings and presented technical ideas to non-technical audiences, so he is comfortable explaining tricky concepts calmly and clearly to young learners. He speaks both English and Mandarin and can support bilingual students or families who prefer extra clarification in Mandarin. In sessions, he encourages questions, checks understanding through small practice tasks, and builds personalised strategies so students walk away feeling capable and ready for school assessments.
