The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is being able to connect with others and watch them grow. I really enjoy teaching and seeing young people develop their skills and become more confident in their abilities. It is very rewarding work!

I think my strengths as a tutor include my patience and ability to pivot, as I know everyone works differently and has different strengths and weaknesses, especially in learning. I also think I am very encouraging and enjoy the challenge of trying new ways to explain or teach a concept.

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is believe in them and their abilities. When a student can see that someone truly believes in them, they can start to believe in themselves too. Regardless of their initial ability, once a student begins to believe in themself they will feel more confident to try more or try new things to support their own learning.
