What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really loved learning as a kid, and most of it was owing to the teachers I grew up with. I feel indebted to them for making me who I am and I really enjoy passing the knowledge I have accumulated. I love interacting and working with kids of all ages, and I enjoy tutoring because I get to make an impact on someone else's life.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I think my biggest strength is my age and experience. I'm still quite young and therefore it hasn't been long since I myself learned this syllabus. I am confident that I can use my youth as an advantage when tutoring. I have also received an A grade or above for all the subjects I have chosen to tutor. This strengthens my capability to teach, as I believe that I am knowledgable on each of these subjects.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is instil confidence in the student. One thing I have observed is, even if you teach a child the entire syllabus to the best of your abilities, they won't perform well in an examination if they don't have the self confidence. I always believe it's best to reassure a student that they know what they're studying and just need a bit of revision. Instilling confidence in them extends a long way, even beyond their studies.
