What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to support others in a way I know I would have valued myself. Whether students gain a better understanding of content, develop effective study strategies, or simply feel reassured knowing someone has been in their position previously in terms of struggle, it is very rewarding to see them leave each session feeling more confident than when they arrived.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor come from the variety of students I have worked with, from primary school to university. These experiences have given me a better understanding of the diverse academic needs of students. I am skilled at tailoring instruction to each individual, such as adapting lessons to overcome language barriers, reinforcing lecture content with practice questions, or providing targeted guidance to deepen understanding. Working with students from varied academic and cultural backgrounds has given me the skillset to best support student needs.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important role of a tutor is to provide reassurance and create an environment where students can feel heard and understood. By recognising and addressing their individual challenges, a tutor can support students in a way that strengthens both their understanding and their confidence, enabling them to engage with the academic material independently and approach future learning with greater self-assurance.
