What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find tutoring incredibly fulfilling because of the meaningful impact it has on my students. As someone who is still a student and has struggled to grasp certain concepts, I empathise with their challenges. Having been in their position, I can break down complex ideas into smaller, more manageable parts, making them easier to understand. When a student tells me that they understand, it makes the experience especially rewarding, as I know I have played a role in their learning journey. Tutoring has also allowed me to significantly develop my communication, a transferrable skill.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Working with students of various calibre in my previous roles, I can tailor the lesson according to the student's needs, making sure their needs are met. Maximising the time I have with my students and always ensuring that they make the most out of it. My emphasis on understanding and application rather than rote memorisation during every lesson is key to ensuring the students impart the essential skills necessary to approach every question in their exam without any fear. Lastly, I encourage my push them to grow by exposing them to progressively difficult questions.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

My utmost priority is to create a safe, comfortable space for my students to understand concepts and raise questions about anything everything. I believe success extends beyond one's innate ability and extends to the effort coupled with determination, which is something that I hope they realise through my lessons.
