As someone who has experienced their fair share of tutors throughout my schooling years, I find the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is support them and motivate them. This includes giving them time to answer a question they may struggle on rather than rushing them because I believe the quality of a tutoring session is much more important than the quantity of content taught.
