What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I am a passionate educator. For years, I have consistently helped others with their education. I founded and chaired the education committee at my medical school. I love helping students reach their full potential and achieve their goals no matter how big or small.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As a medical doctor, I have extensive and advanced scientific skills in mathematics, biology, chemistry and human anatomy/physiology. I have tutored many students while I was a high school and university student. I am also fluently bilingual in French, so if you have any students needing help, they will benefit from a natural speaker. I try to identify each pupil's learning style and help them develop their own learning strategies that will serve them well throughout their entire education.Most important things I can do for a student π
I strongly believe that as an educator it is not simply my responsibility to teach students facts and how to solve problems, it is to teach them to understand why they were wrong so that they have their own educational epiphany and understand why they were mistaken. It is also important to teach and mentor students to love learning so that they want to learn for its own sake, not just to pass the upcoming test. Furthermore, it is important for the student to develop a good relationship with the tutor. If they don't, then tutoring sessions just feel like more school.Subjects Tutored π

Medical Doctor (MD)
I hold a Doctor of Medicine from UniversitΓ© de Sherbrooke, Canada. I have extensive experience with whole-body anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. During my clinical rotations, I have developed significant anaesthetic, surgical and intensive care experience managing and treating patients. I am pursuing an advanced speciality training in anaesthetics and critical care. I obtained an accelerated medical health sciences degree before commencing medicine. I understand how to help prepare students for pre-med and eventually medical studies.
Experienced Tutor
I have provided tutoring to many students at high school and university level. I have tutored in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and French. I am a passionate educator and have consistently educated more junior medical students throughout my medical education. My goal is to be an academic clinician educator in anaesthesiology and critical care medicine at an academic university hospital centre.
