What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I am a passionate educator. I have consistently helped others with their education for years. I have set up an education committee at my university to teach other students how to teach to others. I love helping students reach their full potential and succeeding in their studies. (PS: I am adding this here because I could not input my phone number in the application. I don't have an Australian phone number yet. My phone number is 1-506-869-1599). Thank you.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I have tutored many students while I was a high school and university student. I am in the last weeks of completing my medical degree (MD : medical doctor) at UniversitΓ© de Sherbrooke in Canada. I have extensive broad scientific skills particularly in medicine, as well as maths, chemistry, physics. I am also fluently bilingual in French, so if you have any students needing help, they could benefit from a natural speaker. I have tutored students for free and fee-for-service in English, French, maths, chemistry.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I strongly believe that as an educator it is not simply my responsibility to teach students facts and how to solve problems, it is to teach them to understand why they were wrong so that they have their own educational epiphany and understand why they were mistaken. It is also important to teach and mentor students to love learning so that they want to learn for its own sake, not just to pass the upcoming test. Furthermore, it is important for the student to develop a good relationship with the tutor. If they don't, then tutoring sessions just feel like more school.
