What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Students who participate in tutoring sessions are demonstrating to me that they value education and improving themselves. I really respect this quality and get a great sense of fulfillment when I feel I have delivered a new concept or idea to a student that they can take and use in the future. Many kids also have unique and funny personalities and I enjoy having a sense of what the younger generation is like through the different students I meet.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have the ability to easily build rapport with my students while still maintaining focus on the subject which can sometimes require a fine balance. If progress is plateauing with a student, I am not afraid to get creative and approach the problem from another angle which may help the concept finally click for the student.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
In my opinion, a tutor should be able to to discern what motivates a particular student, easily identify a student's weaknesses and quickly build confidence in these areas through targeted practice. A good tutor establishes specific goals and ensures any tools or methods necessary for improvement are clear and available for the student to use at any moment they feel inclined.
