What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favorite aspect about tutoring is the fact that by becoming a part of my students' learning journey, I'm able to make a difference in their lives. As a former English teacher with more than 2 years of experience, I deeply understand how struggling studying can be, especially when it comes to the preparation for important exams. Thus, having the ability to help and make a positive impact in my students' lives is the most enjoyable part to me. Another rewarding part of tutoring is the fact that I'm also able to learn from my students as well!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

According to my former students' feedback, I believe I'm good at simplifying complicated concepts, inspiring my students to enjoy their learning journey, solving unexpected problems and flexibly modifying my teaching methods so that my style of lesson delivery is well-suited to the learning strategies of my students. In addition, I've always been commended by my former colleagues, students and their parents for my staunch enthusiasm, energy and responsibility in teaching.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

In my opinion, the most important things a tutor should do for students are helping them overcome their own personal study barriers, instructing them to identify the appropriate study methods for their long-term effective study, and most importantly, guiding them to connect what they are learning with what they have already known to see every piece of knowledge from a bigger picture. In other words, a tutor should also be a supportive friend, a great leader and sometimes, an experienced counselor.
