About Charli

Engaging Mentor with Real Experience Supporting Children

Charli brings hands-on experience working with children, having led and coordinated kids’ birthday parties and group activities in busy, high-energy environments. She is used to keeping children safe, engaged and having fun, all while staying organised and calm under pressure. This tutor has also spent time in a primary school classroom, assisting teachers with students’ learning and classroom activities. Parents can expect someone who is confident managing groups, patient with individual needs, and comfortable building rapport with shy or energetic learners alike.

Strong Academic Background in Maths, English and STEM

Charli completed senior school with a focus on English, Mathematics (including advanced maths), Psychology, Physics and Legal Studies, and is now studying a combined degree in Engineering and Design. This means she can support students who are building confidence in core primary maths and English, as well as those tackling more abstract high school concepts. Her engineering studies sharpen her problem-solving and logical reasoning, which she brings into lessons through clear explanations, step-by-step methods and practical examples that help ideas “click”.

Creative, Organised and Relatable Tutor

With skills in design software, 3D modelling and product drawing, Charli enjoys turning abstract ideas into visual, easy-to-understand explanations, such as sketching problems or using simple diagrams for tricky maths. She has created her own multi-purpose phone stand as a university project, showing her ability to plan, test and refine ideas—an approach she applies when helping students improve. Outside study, she plays basketball, goes to the gym and snowboards, which helps her connect with students and bring energy and balance to each session.
