As a tutor one of my strengths is having a broad understanding of many subjects which allows to be provided both subject specific tailored advice and more general advice for 2 or more subjects if asked. Another of my strengths as a tutor is empathy and clear communication skills which I have developed competing as a part of the national dragon boat team, as a part of my studies in engineering at the University of Sydney alongside my current part time job as a cook.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to be timely in replying as if your student is struggling on a topic and say reaching out for an additional session there is no point or benefit to having the session after that content is already assessed. However this is only one of the important things a tutor can do for a student another would be to be empathetic to their challenges both personally and academically so that a positive, constructive environment can be made to work on these topics without causing the student to loose any existing self confidence.Subjects Tutored 🎓
