What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy seeing the frustration go away when a concept finally starts to make sense. Itβs satisfying to see that quiet realization where the logic clicks and things become manageable. I have a good amount of experience tutoring, so Iβve learned to stay patient and keep a positive attitude even when a topic gets frustrating. Since Iβm majoring in psychology, it really helps me understand how different people learn and lets me explain things in simple ways that actually click. Iβm good at breaking down hard ideas into manageable steps and I make sure to stay approachable so students feel comfortable asking questions. I think the most important thing a tutor can do is help a student feel like they can actually handle the work on their own. It Is easy to just give someone the answers, but that doesn't help them in the long run. Since I'm majoring in psychology, I try to focus on building their confidence and helping them get past that "mental block" where they feel stuck. My goal is to stay patient and show them how to approach a problem step-by-step so they start to trust their own logic.
