What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have no direct experience with tutoring, however, I had to indirectly tutor my sister as well as teach my peers at university with topics they struggle. The thing I enjoy most coming from this is the satisfaction from knowing that I helped to improve the knowledge and skills of someone. Being able to apply my own abilities in an area I am passionate in allows me to assist others where they are struggling, and the gratification received is a fantastic feeling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I already have experience as a leader, managing a group of employees and teaching them the processes, operations, how to conduct themselves and how to complete tasks. I am patient in my ability to convey topics that others may struggle with, also ensuring that people understand the fundamental foundations that build onto the complex topics so that they can properly understand what they are engaged with. I firmly hold the belief that you only truly understand a topic if you can easily explain it to someone with no experience so they can understand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Ensuring that the student is happy to attend. A student that is not enjoying the environment they are in will struggle significantly more if they did enjoy learning. So it is important for a tutor to learn and know how the student effectively learns, adapting their teaching style to better reflect the needs and wants of the student. It is also important to consistently ask where the student is struggling. It is useless to explain a topic that a student already understands very well, or begin teaching something if they don't have a strong understanding of its foundations.
