What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing the moment a student's confidence shifts. Often students come to me feeling frustrated or convinced that they 'just can't do' a subject. What I find most rewarding is breaking things down in a way that finally clicks for them and watching their whole attitude toward the subject change as a result. In school, there were times where I struggled to grasp concepts, and I found that my tutor was able to explain the content to an extent where I understood and started to find learning enjoyable. I want to be someone a student can rely on
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my ability to adapt to each student's learning style. I understand that different students have different learning styles, some needing step-by-step structures, while others learning better through visual diagrams. I take time to understand how each student thinks before diving into content. I'd also say patience is a core strength. I never make a student feel silly for not understanding something. If one explanation isn't working, I'll find another way to approach it.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is be reliable. Reliability builds trust and when students know you show up prepared and follow through on what you say, they feel safe and supported, which many students need in order to confidently learn.
