What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the feeling I get when a student finally understands something they were struggling with. When I was in middle school and high school, I used to help my classmates with maths a lot, and I really loved seeing that moment when it all clicked for them. It was really rewarding to know I helped them improve their grades and feel more confident.
Iโve always loved maths myself and have done very well in it throughout school, consistently getting top marks in my final years. I also took part in competitions like IMAS, Math Kangaroo, and the Hanoi Open Mathematics.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I think my main strengths as a tutor are that Iโm patient, kind, and genuinely enjoy working with students. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, so I take the time to explain things clearly and make sure the student feels comfortable asking questions.
Iโm also hardworking and always willing to keep learning myself, so I can improve the way I explain concepts and support my students better. Since I enjoy maths and working with kids, I try to make lessons positive and encouraging, which helps students stay motivated.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I think one of the most important things a tutor can do is help build a studentโs confidence and make them believe that they are capable and smart. A lot of students struggle not because they canโt do the work, but because they doubt themselves.
