What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy helping students understand something they once found difficult. It is really satisfying to see the moment when a concept is finally in their mind. I also used to help my classmate during VCE, and my teacher also found it interesting, the way I solve a question in an alternative way, which is still correct.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I think one of my strengths would be giving alternative ways of solving a question to find the same answer, like shortcuts in CAS / simple calculation instead of doing the long process. I can also explain concepts really well, explain how and why they work, which is what most students look for. Personally, as a Fresh VCE Graduate, I still know what the area of knowledge and content is, where people might struggle.Most important things I can do for a student π
Explaining concepts clearly builds the students' confidence and creates a supportive learning environment. It is better to understand the material rather than just memorise answers.
