What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is working with students and helping them gain confidence in subjects and concepts that they were initially unfamiliar with. It is specifically rewarding when a student grasps a concept that they were struggling with and in turn gain enthusiasm to engage with the subject matter. I also enjoy adapting explanations of math concepts to suit students of varied age groups and learning levels so that they can understand it better.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strengths as a tutor are patience, approachability and clear communication. I strive to make the learning environment more supportive and encouraging so that students feel comfortable asking any question regarding the subject matter that they are struggling with. In addition, I have engaged as a math tutor from my high school days and throughout my Bachelor's degree. I also worked as a full-time Math and English instructor at Kumon for nearly a year. Currently, I'm a Masters student at Macquarie University, with a valid WWCC looking to continue as a Math tutor based in Sydney.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to create a supportive learning environment and to encourage students to develop their critical thinking skills and to help them understand basic concepts. I believe that a good tutor can pay attention to the student's needs and help cater the tutoring experience in a manner that best fits each student to develop their individual learning skills.
